Český tým ovládl disciplínu 300m vleže a bere zlatou medaili. Součástí vítězné sestavy byl i náš reprezentant Jiří Přívratský, společně s Petrem Nymburským a Alešem Entrichelem.
Jiří zazářil i v individuálních startech, v závodě jednotlivců na 300m obsadil 6. místo a navíc přidal stříbro ve standardní terčovnici na 300m.

Petr Nymburský se v posledním soutěžním dnu šampionátu ve sportovní střelbě v Káhiře stal mistrem světa ve velkorážní pušce vleže. Neolympijskou disciplínu, při níž se střílí na vzdálenost 300 metrů, ovládl také český tým, s Nymburským se o titul zasloužili Jiří Přívratský a Aleš Entrichel.
