The Copper & Copper Alloy is one of the oldest metals used by humans, chosen for conductivity, flexibility, recyclability, and corrosion resistance. Cupronickel is ideal for marine systems since it endures seawater corrosion. Copper-silicon and copper-aluminum alloys bring strength with moderate weight reduction.
