Former Arkansas guard DJ Wagner has committed to Maryland, via the NCAA Transfer Portal. He has one season of eligibility remaining.Wagner made 35 appearances and 19 starts for the Razorbacks this past season. He averaged 7.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 23.6 minutes per game. He shot 42.9% from the field and a career-high 34.6% from beyond the arc.Wagner transferred to Arkansas ahead of the 2024-25 season, following head coach John Calipari. In Wagners debut campaign with the Razorbacks, he averaged a career-best 11.2 points per contest. As a true freshman at Kentucky, Wagner started in all but one of his 29 appearances. He averaged 9.9 points and 3.3 assists per game.DJ Wagner played high school basketball at Camden (NJ), where he was a five-star prospect. The Terrapins were fresh off a Sweet 16 appearance when they hired Williams away fromTexas A&Mto replaceKevin Willard. But the program struggled in his first year at the helm.Maryland went 12-21 this season and came nowhere near contending for postseason play. The Terrapins were never able to get things going in Big Ten play, as they won back-to-back games just one time in league play. They lost six of their final seven games in the regular season and lost in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. The NCAA Transfer Portal officially opened on April 7 and closes on April 21. The new 15-day window was enacted following a recommendation by the mens basketball oversight committee. Athletes dont have to commit to a new school by the April 21 deadline. To keep up with the latest players on the move, check out On3s Transfer Portalwire. 2026 NFL Draft Rumors: Ty Simpson Status, Dexter Lawrence Trade Price, More
The NFL Draft is a beast. Rumors flying all over the place. Trade talk concerning players across the sport, which could involve draft picks in the coming draft. We need a place to store this buzz. And with that, here's a tracker for the latest 2026 NFL Draft rumors: Dexter Lawrence trade price The New York Giants are seeking a top-10 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft or a first-round pick plus more draft compensation in any trade for the star defensive lineman, according to the New York Post. Lawrence, who reportedly requested a trade earlier this month in hopes of signing a new contract, totaled career-lows in sacks (0.5), combined tackles (31) and quarterback hits (eight) in 2025. Still, the 28-year-old is a three-time Pro Bowler who logged nine sacks across 12 games in 2024. Lawrence has two seasons remaining on a four-year, $90 million contract. Ty Simpson a first-rounder? The Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback is gaining traction to be selected in the first round, according to CBS Sports. After serving as a backup quarterback for three seasons (2022-24), Simpson was Alabama's starter for the 2025 season. In said year, he totaled 3,567 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, five interceptions and a 145.2 passer rating, while completing 64.5% of his passes. Simpson and the Crimson Tide reached the quarterfinal round of the College Football Playoff before losing to the Indiana Hoosiers. Most likely New York Jets pick The Jets, who own the No. 2 and 16 picks in the first round, are expected to select either Ohio State Buckeyes linebacker Arvell Reese or Texas Tech Red Raiders linebacker David Bailey with the second pick, per CBS Sports. Last season, Reese logged 6.5 sacks, two passes defended and 69 combined tackles, while earning All-American honors; Bailey, who spent the first three seasons of his collegiate career playing for the Stanford Cardinal, racked up a Big 12-high 14.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, three passes defended and 52 combined tackles in 2025. Jeremiyah Love to the desert? There has been "significant buzz" surrounding the Arizona Cardinals selecting the Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back with the No. 3 pick, per SNY. Love, who finished third in the voting for the 2025 Heisman Trophy Award, rushed for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns on 6.9 yards per carry last season, while tallying 280 receiving yards and three receiving scores. He rushed for 17.5 touchdowns per season from 2024-25 on a combined 6.9 yards per carry.

Three things we learnt from the Bundesliga Matchday 30 afternoon kick-offs – Wolfsburg win at the 13th attempt, chaos in the Nordderby, Augsburg all but confirm survival
Three things we learnt from the Bundesliga Matchday 30 afternoon kick-offs Wolfsburg win at the 13th attempt, chaos in the Nordderby, Augsburg all but confirm survivalWith only five matches left in the Bundesliga this season, we are well into the business end of the season, with relegation and European places still up for grabs.Following St.Pauli and Klns 1-1 draw on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon featured Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen vs Augsburg, Union Berlin vs Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen vs Hamburg. Here are the three things we learnt:13th times a charm for Wolfsburg:Union Berlin vs Wolfsburg was filled with storylines. First, there was the fact that Wolfsburg are flirting heavily with relegation, and they really needed a win, while the obvious was Marie-Louise Eta managing her first game as Unions interim head coach, making her officially the first-ever female head coach in the Bundesliga and in Europes top five leagues. However, despite Union being the better side than Wolfsburg for much of the game, they were unable to come away with the win, after early goals from Patrick Wimmer and Dzenan Pejcinovic in either half. Going off the stats, you can quite easily say they were unlucky, and Wolfsburg got lucky. It was a very different style of play from what die Eisernen had been used to under Stefan Baumgart, so there was obviously going to be an adaptation period for the squad, and that was shown today. While for Wolfsburg, they ended a 13-match winless run, with their last win coming against St.Pauli on the 14th of January. The win closes the gap on the relegation playoff spot, held by the Hamburg side, but they still find themselves six points off Bundesliga safety. With only four games remaining, the size of that gap looks too difficult to close.Chaos in the Nordderby:Neither team is entirely safe from relegation, but the Nordderby proved to be a rather chaotic affair.First, Bremen got a big win thanks to a Jens Stage double and a late goal from Cameron Puertas to beat Hamburg 3-1. However, there was one red card, one red card overturned, and then doubts about Leandro Bittencourt not being sent off for a challenge on Miro Muheim. The result now means both teams are five points clear of the Bundesliga relegation playoff. Bremen have a must-win game against Augsburg, while Hamburg have shown that they struggle without Luka Vuskovic in the backline, and with a tough set of fixtures to end the season, they will likely have done enough to retain their Bundesliga status. Just.Finn Dahmen all but guarantees Augsburgs Bundesliga safety:Augsburg were never really in trouble of relegation, especially after they replaced Sandro Wagner with Manuel Baum, but todays 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen basically secures their Bundesliga status for another season, and that is thanks to Finn Dahmen. The goalkeeper made nine saves (viaFotMob) and was able to keep out Leverkusen, who had a total of 35 shots in the loss.As well as Dahmen, luck was on Augsburgs side as they won a penalty right at the end of the game, which Fabian Rieder converted to win them the game. The three points now mean that Baums side are 10 points clear of 16th with four games remaining, which, although it is mathematically still possible, is unlikely. Now their attention can turn to finishing as high as possible, as there is a scenario where Augsburg could play European football next season, depending on the result of Bayern Munich and Freiburg in Europe.GGFN | Jack Meenan
