Besides my parents, my younger brother has also been with me throughout this journey, and just like my parents, he has always supported me.I think I had a wonderful childhood and a great time growing up. Martial arts, in fact, was never a part of her original plan at all.Everything changed at the age of 16, when a group of close friends decided they wanted to try mixed martial arts and simply asked Czaban to come along for the company. She had no particular attachment to the sport walking through the door that first day, and there was absolutely no grand vision behind it. It was simply a casual decision to join her friends for a new experience, and nothing more.She recalled:I started training because my friends wanted to try MMA, and I went along with them for company. I was 16 at the time. The first gym I joined offered MMA classes, so thats where I started.As time went on, I also began training striking and grappling. I spent many years training in one place, but over time the environment started to change. In 2021, ahead of the IMMAF European Championships, Czaban found herself in a deep mental health crisis that she did not yet have the language or understanding to properly process.She revealed:For many years I struggled financially because, as an amateur and at the beginning of a professional career, you simply dont make money in this sport. I moved out of my family home when I was 18, and I didnt want my parents to have the additional burden of supporting me financially. Even so, they always helped me whenever I needed it. Along the way I also dealt with various injuries, some minor, others much more serious.But none of them was as difficult as the time when I hit a very low point mentally and fell into depression. If I remember correctly, it was in 2021, before the IMMAF European Championships.
