Commanders, Jayden Daniels continue to be disrespected
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and his family are disappointed and feel disrespected. How does this present itself when we all know Daniels is lauded and praised excessively by all of the Commanders fan base and the vast majority of NFL analysts? But rather than chase that rabbit, I am going to choose to wait until a few more of the facts are revealed in this story. However, speaking of disrespect, how many of you saw the NFL.com power rankings as we begin this 2026 preseason, Friday night? The NFL site ranked all 32 teams based on where it thinks they currently stand. What I found humorous was that Commanders head coach Dan Quinn was asked about the Commanders first depth chart. Quinn responded that the teams first depth chart was about as relevant as NFL preseason rankings. I dont know if Quinn had actually seen the latest NFL power rankings, but I think he might have. All of those analysts ranking the 32 NFL teams know the Commanders won two playoff games in 2024. They also know the Commanders fell flat on their faces in 2025, finishing 5-12. Perhaps many of those analysts recall the Commanders defense in 2025 ranked 30-32 in entirely too many statistical categories.Yet, at the same time, how much can the analysts know about each NFL team? Some know, but how many know the Commanders have two new coordinators and have largely started over, rebuilding much of the defense? So, when all the rankings were tabulated, NFL.com concluded the Commanders should be ranked No.29.The #Commanders being ranked No. 29 overall in the #NFL is pretty disappointing to me. Yes, I know the Tunsil injury and 5-12 last year. https://t.co/7ZniJJoVNdI think they are largely different & could make playoffs. As we've been yapping about on @team980 Chris Russell AKA the ! (@Russellmania621) August 12, 202629th out of 32 teams? Now THAT is disrespect! If Daniels is that concerned about being disrespected, he is the quarterback, the face of the franchise, the leader of the offense of the No. 29 team in the NFL, at least according to NFL.com. Pro Football Talk also produced its 2026 preseason power rankings this week as well. The Commanders werent respected much better here either. PFT ranks the Commanders 26th out of 32 NFL teams.Wouldnt you rather hear that this disrespect has Daniels focused and driven on his present job? This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: Commanders, Jayden Daniels continue to be disrespected

Juventus withdraw from goalkeeper arrangement; PSG could be forced to change plans
Juventus withdraw from goalkeeper arrangement; PSG could be forced to change plansZion Suzuki is going to sign for PSG but there are big questions now about where he might spend this coming season. If you enjoy PSG Talk coverage and want to see more of it, add us as a preferred source on Google to make us a favourite and see more of our content. The story of PSGs attempts to sign Zion Suzuki have taken an interesting twist. The idea so far was that the Parisians would sign the talented Parma goalkeeper and then loan him to Juventus for a year. That never made much sense to us for one thing, PSGs goalkeeper situation is hardly settled, and they could do with an upgrade right now, not in a years time. And why would Juventus spend time developing a goalkeeper for another team?Suzuki stay disrupts PSGs pecking orderIts no surprise, then, that the latest reports claim that Juventus are no longer interested in that deal. And LEquipe claim that could mean that Suzuki does in fact come to PSG this summer. In turn, that then displaces last summers goalkeeper signing Lucas Chevalier. He was expected to back up Matvey Safonov, but now it feels more likely the club try to find a loan or transfer for Chevalier, and keep Suzuki in the squad to compete for the number one spot. Its all up in the air right now.In other newsThe deal to sign Ferran Torres is almost done Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the attacker has the green light to take his PSG medical.Nasser Al-Khelaifi hinted at more transfers in his comments after the Super Cup win this week. One big team decision in the win over Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup has PSG fans drawing major conclusions about the future of one star in particular.

Robert Saleh: Cam Ward looked a little sped up on Thursday night
Titans quarterback Cam Ward's first drive of the preseason covered 95 yards and ended with a Tony Pollard touchdown run, but the night wasn't a total success for the second-year starter. Ward stayed in the game for three series and the Titans picked up 15 yards while punting twice. He finished the night 5-of-12 for 57 yards and head coach Robert Saleh said after the game that it looked like the move to game action contributed to things getting away from the quarterback. "It felt like his decisions were right, it just felt like he was a little sped up more than he had been in camp," Saleh said. "Its first time live bullets. It looked like his mechanics were a little more sped up than it has been, which is good because we can go correct it, which is what the preseason is for. Im sure hell look back at it and see that the protection was pretty good and he could have went through his process a little bit better.Ward said he was "maybe a little bit" sped up, but felt like he was doing a good job of recognizing coverages and going to the right places with the ball. We were real good in the run game, real sound like weve been all camp. Weve got to continue to clean up things in the pass game, with myself and my receivers seeing eye to eye, Ward said. Ive got to continue to give them better chances, making plays. I think once we get that well be really good. The Titans will have over a week to work on things before they host the Seahawks in their second preseason game and they'll be hoping to see a calmer Ward in the pocket the next time he's out there.
