Elizaveta Tuktamysheva on coaching and working with Sofya Muravyova:
"In general, coaching is very interesting and very difficult, but I see some inspiration and motivation to work in it, especially in tandem with Alexey Nikolaevich and Tatyana Nikolaevna Mishiny. It is a wonderful opportunity, so I am insanely grateful to them for helping me in this matter.
Advice on the triple axel for Sofya Muravyova? Yes, of course, I can give advice on any figure skating questions! We work separately on the axel, but of course, Alexey Nikolaevich works closely with her. If I see something, I won’t stay silent. Overall, I think we have a good mutual understanding. I see that Sonya listens and wants to, and that is the most important thing for an athlete – desire and trust in the people around them. That trust exists, and that is what we rely on.
We have different techniques, but now we are trying to make her axel a little more like mine. It’s difficult, but possible.
Now, with the season actively started and me on the ice from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday remain for media. On some days, I add something else. It’s 60 to 40. No days off. I’m on the ice 3-4 hours a day, we have breaks."
