  • Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky — about working with Eteri Tutberidze

DK: Eteri Georgievna is our main inspiration. Sasha and I treat her with great respect and student love. She is an absolutely amazing person, besides being an amazing specialist. She is really very attentive to her athletes. It is very comfortable for us to work on the ice with Eteri Georgievna and comfortable to interact with her off the ice. And we are glad that we have such a relationship with her. We can’t imagine our sports career without her now.

AB: She is always present at program setups, gives her opinion, helps with transitions, suggests some tricks.

DK: That’s when we work with outside specialists. We have programs that Eteri Georgievna and Daniil Gleikhengauz just set for us.

AB: And if we talk about the training process, she always comes to our ice, makes remarks, notes moments she would like to correct.

DK: She exercises global management over our pair.

AB: She likes that we have become more mature, conscious. That our skating lines have improved — this is all the work of Stanislav Alexandrovich Morozov’s influence. She said we have become more stately, — the skaters said on Okko broadcast..

  • Elizaveta Tuktamysheva on coaching and working with Sofya Muravyova:

"In general, coaching is very interesting and very difficult, but I see some inspiration and motivation to work in it, especially in tandem with Alexey Nikolaevich and Tatyana Nikolaevna Mishiny. It is a wonderful opportunity, so I am insanely grateful to them for helping me in this matter.

Advice on the triple axel for Sofya Muravyova? Yes, of course, I can give advice on any figure skating questions! We work separately on the axel, but of course, Alexey Nikolaevich works closely with her. If I see something, I won’t stay silent. Overall, I think we have a good mutual understanding. I see that Sonya listens and wants to, and that is the most important thing for an athlete – desire and trust in the people around them. That trust exists, and that is what we rely on.
We have different techniques, but now we are trying to make her axel a little more like mine. It’s difficult, but possible.

Now, with the season actively started and me on the ice from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday remain for media. On some days, I add something else. It’s 60 to 40. No days off. I’m on the ice 3-4 hours a day, we have breaks."

  • Well, most of us knew this was coming, but it's official. Jessie Diggins has announced that the 2025–26 season will be her last.

The most decorated American cross-country skier in history will close her career this winter — from the opener in Ruka to the final finish in Lake Placid.

“I hope I’m remembered… for the joy, sense of fun on snow, heart-on-sleeve racing, deep vulnerability and openness,” Diggins said today.

Tributes poured in from across the ski world — Mikaela Shiffrin praised her “contagious joy,” Lindsey Vonn called her “an inspiration far beyond sport,” and teammates described her as the heartbeat of the U.S. program.

  • Ski Racing Legend Mikaela Shiffrin Opens Up About the Emotional Inspiration Behind Her Levi Victory Trophy

In the frosty glow of Levi, Finland's slalom course, Mikaela Shiffrin didn't just claim her 102nd World Cup win on November 15, 2025—she reclaimed her unbreakable spirit. The 30-year-old American icon dominated the season opener, blazing through both runs 1.66 seconds ahead of Albania's Lara Colturi, securing her ninth reindeer trophy from the Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm. But as Shiffrin named her latest prize "Winkie," she peeled back layers of vulnerability, revealing the profound emotional fuel behind her flawless descent.Speaking to the Associated Press, Shiffrin confessed the ghosts of her 2024 Cortina d'Ampezzo crash—a near-catastrophic abdominal injury that pierced perilously close to her colon—haunted her more than the physical scars. "It left me with this PTSD-esque block," she admitted, describing self-doubt's cruel whisper: "People have had worse crashes, worse injuries. What’s wrong with you?" That inner critic, born from Beijing 2022's Olympic heartbreak and months of rehab, became her fiercest rival. Yet, it was family—mother Eileen, brother Taylor, and his wife—that ignited the turnaround. A pre-season visit to her reindeer herd, a "family affair" amid the farm's serene Lapland wilds, reminded her of joy's quiet power. "I trusted the summer training, but mentality was the final push," Shiffrin told TNT Sports, her voice steady with gratitude. Now, with Milano Cortina 2026 on the horizon, her Levi triumph—65th in slalom—signals not dominance, but defiance. The reindeer? Living symbols of resilience, grazing as sentinels to a legacy etched in ice and heart. Shiffrin's whisper to herself mid-run? "You've got this—for them." #LeviVictoryTrophy #SkiRacingLegend #MikaelaShiffrin

  • OTT TÄNAK IS LEAVING HYUND AND WRC !!!
End of career for the Estonian driver.

Hyundai Motorsport to wish a fond farewell to Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja at the end of the 2025 FIA WRC season

Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team’s Ott Tänak has announced his retirement from full-time rallying at the end of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) season
The Estonian’s departure comes as he decides to step away from the sport for personal reasons, with Rally Saudi Arabia marking the conclusion of two successful eras with the team
Tänak and Järveoja have taken eight victories for Hyundai Motorsport, the most recent at the 2025 edition of Acropolis Rally.

    Aichi, Japan

November 9, 2025 – As Ott Tänak today announces he will step down from full-time rallying at the end of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) season, Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team celebrates a successful partnership that has delivered one manufacturers’ title in 2020, eight victories, and 28 podiums.

The Estonian, alongside co-driver and fellow countryman Martin Järveoja, first joined Hyundai Motorsport at the start of 2020, with the partnership initially spanning three successful seasons. His first win came at his home event – Rally Estonia – where he and Järveoja led a 1-2 victory for the team. The next win was at the iconic Arctic Rally Finland in 2021, where he secured silverware on the winter snow.

Tänak departed Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team at the end of 2022 before returning for the 2024 season. Wins in Rally Italia Sardegna and Central European Rally contributed to his third-place finish in the championship.

While 2025 has been a challenging year for the Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team, as it has struggled to extract consistent performance from the Hyundai i20 N Rally1, Tänak still found success on the stages at several rounds of the 2025 WRC season, claiming six podiums and one victory (Acropolis Rally) to date.

Tänak’s participation in the WRC has never gone under the radar, with Estonian flags proudly displayed at many rounds of the championship. His popularity reflects his determination, competitiveness and skill, cementing him as one of the sport’s most revered characters.

His decision to step back comes as he chooses to dedicate more of his time to his family, business and life beyond rallying. The team thanks him for his inspirational moments and dedication to his craft. Despite the highs and lows that the WRC may produce, he has always remained committed to being one of the best.

Hyundai Motorsport will announce its full 2026 WRC line-up in due course.
