Mikhail Shaidorov (KAZ) 2./251.06 Today was not bad, I really deserved to be here, going to the final.Skate America was really difficult for me, but I fight. For me it's quite difficult to get into the season and I think the mistakes were more like a mental thing. They were not that major, even though I fell. The most important thing for me is that I fought until the very end. It was a difficult day but I managed and I will continue to strive for improvement. Alysa Liu (USA) 1./214.27 SB It does mean a lot that I'm able to honestly just be at such a big competition like the Grand Prix in general. Whether I'm on the podium or not, I'm glad that I was able to take that stage and perform. Although, I do wish I performed a little bit better, there were a few things that I would definitely elevate. But I'm just really glad that my devotion to creation has led me to this point. I didn't like how my jumps were today, but I tied my skates a little bit too tight when I went out there, I kind of do things like last minute. So now that it's confirmed I'm going to the Grand Prix Final, I do really want to have my Gaga program ready for that. But if it's not fully ready, aI don't want to do it. We've been working on the choreography because we have a pretty good blueprint of the music. So choreography is basically done, but as for the whole concept, not quite. #figureskating #gpfigure #skateamerica

Marjorie Lajoie/Zachary Lagha (CAN) 2./197.16 SB Marjorie: We're very proud and happy with our skate and the result. It means a lot for us to finish second here. We worked really hard in between Skate Canada and Skate America. We only had a week and a half and I think we did a pretty good job. Zachary: We have a lot of energy when we skate, and the short program shows that, and that's the card we're playing. It's also kind of an homage to sports in general. That was the thought process behind it. For the free, I really enjoy to skate on classical music, and I think that we're trying to deepen our connection between each other. We want to bring an elegance to our skating, and, actually, I think we really enjoy it. #figureskating #skateamerica #gpfigure

Kevin Aymoz (FRA) 1./253.53 It's my third medal in a row at Skate America. I don't know how much I love Skate America right now. Finally a gold medal, especially at Skate America for me, so I feel like I'm one of the biggest medalists. Incredible and especially to share this competition with those guys. They're so good and it makes the competition even fun to compete. When I woke up this morning I was going for the win. I said go big or go home. I have no chance to go to the final. I was like try your best, just try and practice. The two weeks since Skate Canada were really mentally challenging. During the program I was not thinking. I went jump by jump, element by element and when the scores came out it was so small on the screen and I could hear nothing so I was like is it good is it bad. #figureskating #gpfigure #skateamericat
