• My Journey Behind the Scenes of Alpine Ski Racing

For more than 20 years I had the privilege of traveling to the world’s most renowned ski racing venues from Lake Louise, Beaver Creek, Sölden, Kitzbühel, Wengen, Courchevel, Cortina, St. Moritz to Val d’Isère, Jasná, Zauchensee, Flachau, and many more.

During the first 12 years I worked as a Service Technician in Junior Racing, the European Cup, and the World Cup supporting athletes directly with the best possible ski set-ups and equipment.

After that I spent 13 years as an Assistant Atomic Alpine Racing taking care of front and back office, organization, logistics, coordination, and overall team support – always with one goal in mind: to create the best conditions for our athletes to perform at their peak.

The travel schedule was intense, often taking us halfway around the world but being part of this sport’s heartbeat was incredibly rewarding. I’m proud to have contributed to our athletes success and to have supported them professionally throughout their careers.

Some of my personal highlights include the World Championships in 2011 (Garmisch), 2013 (Schladming), 2017 (St. Moritz), 2019 (Åre), 2021 (Cortina) and
2023 (Courchevel/Méribel) as well as the Olympic Games in 2014 (Sochi), 2018 (Pyeongchang) and 2022 (Beijing).

About a year ago I faced panic attacks and burnout 🪫which forced me to take a conscious break.
That challenging period taught me to listen to myself, build resilience, and redefine my personal limits.

Today I look back with gratitude and move forward with motivation – starting a new chapter as:

    Senior Specialist APC Sales/Racing

I’m excited for new projects, inspiring people, and upcoming challenges ahead .
