Recent Developments

In South Korea, LG Chem has started mass production of single-crystal high-nickel cathodes at its Cheongju plant, with shipments beginning in July, 2023. The Kaohsiung, Taiwan plant, with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons, began production in January 2022, utilizing Formosa’s propylene supply.
