Radtke keeps hold of Prados left arm to set up astraight armlock, and he lets Prado fall over to his back to startpursuing chokes from this position instead.Radtke locks down the body triangle and starts pawing at Prado withextremely light punches, using them perhaps only to make Pradothink something bigger is coming to open the neck up. The Argentinanative does not fall for it, instead staying composed until he canexplode and turn himself all the way around to get on top. Pradosits up to jack down two hard elbows, and Radtke answers his thirdbuck with an armbar setup. Prado stands up to shake his limb out ofthe danger and reasserts himself back on top. Off his back, Radtkeis aggressive with elbows, slashing them upwards and gashing openPrados forehead. Blood sprays from the veritable axe wound, and itis pouring out all over the American. The round ends, and for amoment when the cutperson tends to the damage, one can nearly peerinto the hole all the way to Prados skull. It takes onesingle punch from Chuck Buffalo to smear away the Vaseline andforce the blood to flow. Prado starts off aggressively, his cornerimploring him to finish the fight lest he come up short on thescorecards. Radtke is ready for it, and he trades a few punchesuntil Prado pushes off in an exchange and jams at least one fullknuckle deep into Radtkes eye socket. It is a horrific poke, andGoddard quickly brings in the doctor to check on it. During thestoppage time, Goddard goes over to Prados corner to shout at thefighters Argentinian teammate, Santiago Ponzinibbio, for issuingcorner advice while during foul stoppage time. The physician tellsRadtke that there appears to be no visible damage to the eyeitself, and the crowd starts chanting for Goddard to take a point.Radtke tries to flush out the eye with some water, and he tellsGoddard he is good to go and passes the finger vision test. Goddardlistens to the audience and enforces the rules, deducting one pointfrom the offending Prado. They resume four-plus minutes to go, andPrado comes out like his hair is on fire. Mederos drills Padillacoming in with an elbow that slashes open a wound above Padillaseyebrow, causing blood to leak directly into his right eye. He backpedals, andMederos ties him up for a possible takedown but nothing comes of itas Padilla steers them to the fencing. Mederos gains a lick ofspace to slash out with a number of hard elbows, and Padilla staysright in his face taking damage and hitting back just as hard.Padillas pressure is overwhelming, so Mederos posts off andthrusts his thumb into Padillas eye. Padilla does not take longbefore wanting to get back after it, stringing powerful punchestogether. Mederos gives him pause with a low kick, but Padilla isquick to get right back on the attack.Mederos welcomes pocket exchanges even though he is at the volumedisadvantage, with Padilla peppering him with offense for days.Mederos connects with another flush elbow, and he scoops a heftyleft hook behind it. Padilla walks face-firstinto a stern elbow, and he shakes his head and picks up hislunchpail to keep going strong.
