    Bears' George McCaskey shares statement after Dave McGinnis' passing
    Former Chicago Bears assistant and longtime NFL coach Dave McGinnis passed away Monday in Tennessee at the age of 73.McGinnis spent 31 years as a coach in the NFL, where he got his start with the Bears. He served as linebackers coach from 1986-1995, where he coached the likes of Hall of Famer Mike Singletary, Otis Wilson and Wilber Marshall among others.Bears owner and chairman George H. McCaskey released a statement mourning the loss of "Coach Mac," as he was affectionally known as."Dave was a man of principle and unquestioned integrity, and a darn good football coach," said Bears chairman George H. McCaskey, via ChicagoBears.com. "Those of us who were fortunate to be around him knew that any time spent with Coach Mac was going to be a good time. We will miss him. Our condolences to his family."After a decade with the Bears, McGinnis went on to serve as the defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals (1996-2000) before being promoted to head coach (2000-2003). McGinnis went on to serve as linebackers coach with the Tennessee Titans (2004-2011) before serving as assistant head coach with the Los Angeles Rams (2012-2016).     A rare life jacket worn by a Titanic survivor is set to be auctioned more than a century after the disaster.The flotation device, used by first-class passenger Laura Mabel Francatelli during the ships 1912 sinking, is expected to sell for roughly $339,000 to $475,000, news agency Cover Media reported.Francatelli wore the life jacket as she boarded Lifeboat No. 1 after the Titanic struck an iceberg just before midnight on April 14, 1912.
