Like I said, no respect for him."The correspondence released by Faldo's management company includes a December 2020 message in which the Englishman wished Norman well following his hospitalisation with Covid-19.Two years later, in late 2022, Faldo reached out again with an invitation to appear on his new YouTube show.Norman's response came roughly a week later: "I think we both can agree that our relationship over the years hasn't always been the best, and we don't see eye to eye on everything, so probably best to pass on this for both of us."Faldo subsequently sent two video messages attempting to persuade Norman to reconsider.He explained the programme "was not all about LIV" and expressed his desire to speak with "fellow champions", noting there was nothing problematic about them being "chalk and cheese"."We've had our battles through the years, so I think that would be interesting to talk about," Faldo said in the recordings.
