Game-by-game predictions for the Steelers' 2026 season: How many wins for Pittsburgh?
On Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers released their full schedule for the 2026 regular season. Pittsburgh is coming off an AFC North championship and an early exit from the playoffs, but is hoping to reload with new head coach Mike McCarthy. Here is our early prediction for all 17 games, including the scores.Week 1 vs. Falcons at 1 p.m. (Home Opener)The Steelers get a rare home game to open the season and take advantage against young quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and pull off an early win. Win 24-21Week 2 at Patriots at 1 p.m.Traveling to the Patriots in Week Two is a tough ask for this team with what will be a new offensive line. The Steelers play it close but lose on a field goal. Loss 28-31Week 3 vs. Bengals at 1 p.m.The Bengals can make a strong case they are the best team in the AFC after their offseason additions and while the Steelers are still trying to gel on offense, the Bengals steal a home win in a shootout.Loss 34-42Week 4 at Browns on Thursday Night FootballIt's a short week but we don't expect the Browns to be competitive this season. The Steelers bounce back and break their early losing streak.Win 24-14Week 5 vs. Colts at 1 p.m.Michael Pittman Jr. returns to his old team and gets some revenge thanks to the team's best offensive performance.Win 27-14Week 6 at BuccaneersA road game a week ahead of the team's big trip to Paris but it doesn't stop them from pulling off what amounts to an upset win over Tampa Bay.Win 24-14Week 7 at Saints in Paris at 9:30 a.m. ESTSteelers fans pack the stadium in Paris and the defense makes like impossible for Saints quarterback Tyler Shough.Win 21-7Week 8 vs. Browns at 1 p.m.Pittsburgh travels to Cleveland after that European trip and barely sneaks by an improving Cleveland squad in an ugly, defensive-focused game.Win 17-10Week 10 at Bengals on Sunday Night FootballThe Steelers come off the bye week with an impressive 6-2 record but hit the wall on the road against the Bengals and break the streak.Loss 35-24Week 11 at Eagles at 4:25 p.m.The Steelers brutal stretch continues on the road against the Eagles. This one is going to be a slugfest but Philadelphia pulls out a close one.Loss 17-14Week 12 vs. Broncos at 3 p.m. (Black Friday game)With a belly full of Thanksgiving dinner, the Steelers travel to Denver and lose their third game in a row.Loss 24-17Week 13 vs. Texans on Sunday Night FootballThis is a revenge game for the Steelers after the playoffs last year and a perfect chance to break their losing streak. This one comes down to the leg of kicker Chris Boswell and he gets the win.Win 27-24Week 14 at Jaguars on Monday Night FootballThe Steelers need to keep up the momentum of last week's Texans' win because that road game against the Ravens is circled on the schedule. The Steelers' offense is humming this week and they get a blowout win in prime time.Win 45-28Week 15 at RavensBy this point in the season, it'll be a three-team race for the AFC North with the Steelers Ravens and Bengals. As much as the Steelers need this win, the Ravens prove to be too much in Baltimore.Loss 27-21Week 16 vs. PanthersHonestly we have no idea what to expect from the Panthers this season but we have no faith in Bryce Young so this is week for the Steelers to get back on track thanks to the defense.Win 24-3Week 17 at Titans at 1 p.m.We have high hopes for the Titans and Cam Ward but the Steelers know this is a must-win and the defense carries the team to the win.Win 20-7Week 18 vs. Ravens TBDPittsburgh heads into this game at 10-6 but needs to get past the Ravens here to make the playoffs and they fall short after a long, physical season going against a physical Ravens team.Loss 30-24This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule: Game-by-game score predictions for 2026 season
