Chris 'The Bear' Fallica's World Cup Best Bets Today Match Day 13
"Bear Bets" are real wagers that Chris "The Bear" Fallica is actually making. In two games apiece, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbapp and Erling Haaland have scored a combined 13 goals five for Messi, four for Mbapp and four for Haaland. Today, it's Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane's turn. Here is what Im eyeing ahead of Match Day 13. This page may contain affiliate links to legal sports betting partners. If you sign up or place a wager, FOX Sports may be compensated. Read more about Sports Betting on FOX Sports. Portugal vs. Uzbekistan Uzbekistan was a bit of a surprise against Colombia. It tallied a first-half goal and made a very good account of itself. Im not sure if it can beat Portugal, but its style of play looks to me as if there will be an opportunity for Portugal to get another early goal, as it did against Congo. But at the same time, while Uzbekistan's risk-taking might result in a Portugal goal, it could result in a goal of its own. Portugal needs to put Bruno Fernandes in a position to score, even if that means hurting Ronaldos feelings. So be it. The Portugal offense cannot center around an undersized team sending a bunch of crosses to a 41-year-old. Fernandes needs to shoot, and I think he will. England vs. Ghana Ghana really didn't do a lot against Panama, but it did take advantage of its biggest opportunity late to grab all three points. Englands defense was a little more vulnerable than expected vs. Croatia, so I expect it will tighten things up against an opponent that shouldnt be as dangerous. Panama vs. Croatia Two of the older teams here, but I think it will affect Panama more than Croatia. Both teams took nothing away from their openers, but Croatia looked more dangerous than I expected against Three Lions, and Petar Musa, who scored just before halftime in that game, should again be dangerous. He's likely to have a say in a goal here. Colombia vs. Congo Congo managed a shock draw against Portugal in the opener, and it will look to employ a similar strategy here absorb shots, maybe steal a point and, with a result against Uzbekistan, advance to the knockout round. Colombia have its sights set on winning the group and will fire away in hopes of taking all three points.

Why Caitlin Clark's latest tech leaves her closer to 1-game suspension
Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark is three technical fouls away from a one-game suspension.Clark picked up her fifth tech of the season on Monday night during a brouhaha with the Phoenix Mercury, one that apparently came on "clapping and instigating" according to Clark's interaction with one of the game's refs."We should all just go on the calendar now and pick a game that Im gonna be suspended for if Im gonna get technicals for clapping," an animated Clark told reporters after the game as she was questioning the tech. Clark was not happy with the call, which is pretty par for the course for how she usually reacts to calls that don't go her way. It's part of the competitive spirit. However, this time, she's got a point over the call being questionable. There is league precedent from this season for a player getting a technical foul rescinded over clapping. Dallas Wings superstar guard Paige Bueckers recently had a tech waved off over clapping. #Fever star Caitlin Clark called her fifth tech of the season ridiculous. 8 techs = one-game suspension. We should all just go on the calendar now and pick a game that Im gonna be suspended for if Im gonna get technicals for clapping.CC called out official Gerda Gatling. pic.twitter.com/n8pMon1qqP James Boyd (@RomeovilleKid) June 23, 2026Whether or not the league erases this Clark tech is beyond us; they might not because of the dust-up that led to the call. However, Clark will have to be careful not to keep the techs coming with three more leading to a one-game sit. When do the Fever and Mercury play again?Wednesday evening at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Bring your popcorn. This article originally appeared on For The Win: Why Caitlin Clark's latest tech leaves her closer to 1-game suspension

Oklahoma rolls past Tar Heels 13-2 for 1st national championship since 1994 and SEC's 7th in a row
Oklahoma capitalized on North Carolina's uncharacteristic pitching struggles and got another clutch performance from LJ Mercurius out of the bullpen on its way to a 13-2 victory in the winner-take-all Game 3 of the College World Series finals Monday night, completing an improbable run to its first national championship since 1994.The Sooners (43-23) won the Southeastern Conference's seventh straight title after finishing 11th in the regular season and entering the NCAA Tournament off losses in seven of nine games.North Carolina (54-14-1) was runner-up for the third time since 2006 and now has 13 CWS appearances without a title. Only Florida State, with 24, has more without winning it all.The Sooners were back in top form offensively after managing only four singles in a 6-2 loss in Game 2 and handed the Tar Heels their most lopsided loss of the season. When Jackson Cleveland struck out Jake Schaffner to end the game, he and catcher Deiten Lachance embraced and then headed to the dogpile that formed near third base. Players waving national championship towels rushed back toward their dugout to salute the celebrating Sooner faithful on the first-base line.Kyle Branch, the No. 9 batter who came into the game 1 of 16 (.063) in the CWS, drove in six runs with a pair of singles and home run. His homer came on his last at-bat, just as brother Kolby's did for Georgia last Wednesday.Pure joy. Pure joy for our team, Branch said. I had a teammate tell me I was going to do something special, and for him to tell me that with the way things have been going, it has to be a God thing. He joined Dayton Tockey as the seventh and eighth OU players to homer in Omaha. Jaxon Willits had three hits, reached base five times and finished the CWS 13 of 25 (.520). He was named CWS most outstanding player. The pitching matchup of Carolina's Jackson Rose (5-1) and Oklahoma's Nick Wesloski was the first between freshmen in a CWS winner-take-all game since 1993. Neither got out of the third inning.Mercurius (7-7) turned in another strong performance, shutting down a threat when OU led 3-1 in the third and holding the Tar Heels to one run in 5 2/3 innings. He allowed just two runs in 12 1/3 over four CWS appearances. The Tar Heels' pitching staff, which had the best ERA in the Atlantic Coast Conference, had been good and occasionally great in the CWS. It was neither Monday, with eight pitchers combining to allow 14 hits, issue eight walks, throw three wild pitches and hit a batter.ACC freshman of the year Caden Glauber, who had given up just one run in 10 1/3 innings in four CWS appearances, was called on for a fifth one day after he threw 65 pitches in five shutout innings. It was apparent coach Scott Forbes went to the well one time too many.Glauber was called for a clock violation before he even threw his first pitch. He issued a four-pitch bases-loaded walk and Willits followed with a two-run single to make it 6-1 in the fourth. That was all for Glauber, who threw seven pitches, five of them balls. The Tar Heels had won all 29 games in which Glauber had pitched before Monday.___AP college sports: https://apnews.com/hub/college-sports
