Usually, news of a player's home being put on the market is the spark for speculation that he may be looking for a new city in which to play. For former Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, the "For Sale" sign has come nearly two months after he was traded to the Rams.Via Kalan Hooks of ESPN, Garrett's home in Wadsworth, Ohio, is available for $2.1 million.Sitting on two acres, the house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and 4,300 square feet of living space. (There's no mention of whether it comes with his quarterback graveyard.)The house was built in 2018, a year after Garrett arrived in Ohio as the first overall pick in the draft.To get a similar house in L.A., Garrett will probably need to move the decimal point one space to the right.

Joey Logano Dominates North Wilkesboro to Snap His Winless StreakLogano Turned North Wilkesboro Into a One-Car Show and Flipped His Playoff FateEvery so often a three-time champion spends a night reminding everyone exactly why he has that hardware at home, and Joey Logano picked a 30-year-old itch to scratch.Logano led 323 laps of Sunday night's Window World 450 at North Wilkesboro Speedway, then beat Denny Hamlin to the stripe by 0.859 seconds a margin that badly undersells how completely he owned the place. It was the 38th win of his Cup career and the first points-paying Cup race run at the old 0.625-mile bullring in three decades. On a flat, single-groove short track like North Wilkesboro, track position is currency and clean air is king. Get out front with the right balance and the field behind you is stuck breathing exhaust and clawing at the same greasy asphalt everyone else is fighting. Logano and crew chief Paul Wolfe clearly unloaded a car that rotated the way he wanted, and on a track this tight that edge compounds lap after lap. Leading nearly three-quarters of a race isn't luck it's a setup that let him dictate every restart and every long run.He didn't get to coast, though. Hamlin's No. 11 hung within range through the final stage, and the whole thing pivoted on a green-flag pit cycle. Hamlin blinked first, ducking onto pit road on Lap 359; Logano ran one extra lap, cycled through, and came out roughly a half-second ahead. On a track where passing is a knife fight, that half-second was the ballgame especially once the final stage reeled off 175 caution-free laps, denying Hamlin any restart to bunch the field or any lucky yellow to reset the gap.Here's the part that makes this more than a feel-good trophy: the playoff math. Logano rolled in sitting 17th, on the wrong side of the Chase cutline, and left 15th and 49 points clear with five races before the postseason field locks. This is a driver still nursing a grudge over 2015, when a Martinsville payback wreck blew up what looked like a title run. He's built a reputation as a streaky, clutch, occasionally polarizing racer who shows up when the stakes climb. A dominant night at a throwback track, capped with what he called "big, smoky doughnuts," is about as on-brand as it gets.Post-race inspection cleared the car with no issues, so the result stands.

Harvick would go on to become an IMS legend with three Brickyard 400 wins including 2003, 2019 and 2020.Harvick, who on May 19th was named to the latest class in the NASCAR Hall Of Fame and will be inducted next January, believes his first Brickyard 400 win on August 3, 2003, served as the launching pad to his Hall of Fame career.How Harvicks Brickyard 400 Win Solidified The Foundation Of A Great CareerHarvick had already won three NASCAR Cup Series races in his career when he arrived at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 2003 Brickyard 400. Crew chief Todd Berrier had prepared a fast No. 29 GM Goodwrench Chevrolet at Richard Childress Racing and Harvick put it on the pole at Indianapolis. The following day, Harvick led 33 laps in the 160-lap Brickyard 400, including the final 16 laps to claim the first Crown Jewel victory in his NASCAR career.NASCARs Crown Jewels include the Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Brickyard 400 and the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.Harvicks previous victories before the big win at IMS in 2003 came with his first win in only his third NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta on March 11, 2001. It came at the most famous racing facility in the world.Earlier this year, I had an exclusive interview with Harvick, who plays a major role at FOX Sports as the NASCAR Cup Series telecasts and is the host of two podcasts on FOX including Kevin Harvicks Happy Hour and SPEED With Harvick and Buxton.I think that the Brickyard was really the first one, the first really big win, that got us on the right track, Harvick told me. We really didnt get to be a consistent winner in the Cup car until 2006 and thats when I learned sometimes it just takes time. There are so many different things that happen off the racetrack, the politics of it all, how to interact with your team and develop the car. It was a lot different than being in the car every single week. It was like being married, right? When you are around somebody every day, you really understand who they are and how they operate and the things that they like and dont like. There is a process that goes with it. I think in 2003 we were we won the Brickyard and were competitive. The grandstands were packed with over 300,000 fans who would brave the very hot and humid Indiana weather in August.The crowds at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway were double and triple the size of NASCARs other big races.Plus, the Brickyard 400 was creating its own history at a time when the Indianapolis 500 was in the middle of a split between the Indy Racing League and CART.At that particular time, it was treated like the Indy 500, and they would almost purposely not put enough seats in there to make it bigger than the Indy 500 at that time, Harvick recalled. One of the moments I remember the most is the pace car ride after the race with Richard Childress and DeLana (Harvicks wife) riding around the racetrack afterwards, because thats what they do at Indy.It was a moment of clarity and reflection for Harvick because he remembered seeing the greatest names in racing take that same winners ride in the pace car after winning the Indianapolis 500 including Rick Mears after each of his four Indy 500 wins. That was as close as you can come to living out your childhood dream, to go to the Brickyard. Everything that you had talked about to that point was wanting to race in the Indy 500. He was playing baseball and soccer and basketball or whatever sport was happening at the school. For so long, we didnt really want to get into racing with Keelan, he needed to go do something else. You get burned out on the things that you've done your whole life because it's taken up so much time. And then, Keelan decided to race during COVID. And really, we havent stopped racing since.With Keelan following in his fathers path, Kevin Harvick rediscovered the joy of racing, something that had skipped him by because of the relentless schedule, and often brutal demands that come with racing at NASCARs highest levels for more than 25 straight years.Since he started racing, it reminded you of why you like racing and that's the people, the places you get to go, Harvick said. Karting was a lot of fun for me because that's how I started as a kid and he traveled all over the world doing it. But you remember when you see the parents and the kids and going to these different places and you remember why you love the sport. UPDATE: The Giants indeed did not place Malik Nabers (or Cam Skattebo) on the physically unable to perform list Thursday, in advance of training camp starting Tuesday. The Giants did put these players on the PUP list: tight end Thomas Fidone, defensive lineman Sam Roberts and defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris. Those are their only PUP list guys. ***It sure looks like Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers has a legit shot at being ready for Week 1. And ultimately, thats the goal, as the Giants prepare to report to training camp Tuesday in West Virginia, with their first practice coming a day later. The more important date for Nabers, as he recovers from a torn ACL Sept. 13. Thats when the Giants open coach John Harbaughs first season with a massive Sunday night home game against Dallas. In the meantime, the Giants are not expected to place Nabers on the physically unable to perform list to begin camp, according to ESPN. Thats a good sign for Nabers, though he still has to show he can fully participate in practice before he gets on the game field. Nabers didnt practice at all in the spring. He underwent a second right knee surgery this offseason to clean up scar tissue something that could delay his rehab. Theres also this: Nabers didnt just get his ACL fixed last season after he tore it. He also underwent a full meniscus repair. That, too, can prolong a players rehab. Nabers got hurt in quarterback Jaxson Darts first start Week 4 against the Chargers, on Sept. 28. He had surgery exactly one month later. Will Nabers actually be ready for Week 1 this year? That remains unclear. And even if he does play, how effective/explosive will he be? Thats another major question facing the Giants and Harbaugh, who desperately need Nabers to provide the playmaking foundation for their offense. Aljamain Sterling doesn't think Conor McGregor should face Max Holloway in a trilogy bout after UFC 329.McGregor's comeback was spoiled by Holloway when he injured his knee from the first kick he threw at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. McGregor (22-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) ended up tearing his right ACL and meniscus in a TKO loss."The Notorious" was initially scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024, but a broken pinky toe delayed his return. Sterling says that's the fight that should be rebooked once McGregor heals from surgery."Not at the top level," Sterling said of McGregor in an interview with Ignition Poker. "I think you have to give him a matchup that's going to give him his confidence back, let him see where he's at and where he can compete. He doesn't need to do anything crazy, just skill for skill. He doesn't need jumping moves or spinning back kicks. Just come in, see where your hands are, see how it feels to move and pivot, see if you've got that same bounce and see if you can compete with those guys. If you can't, that's going to be the real gauge. But you also don't want to take the risk of losing to a relatively unknown name and then losing a potential big fight that you could have had."At the same time, do you want to have the big fight and then get really, really hurt? It depends on him. The way I would do it is to come back in a matchup that makes sense. I don't want to call it a tune-up fight because all these guys are tough, but get a matchup that makes sense. I always said he should have come back and fought Chandler. That would have made more sense. Stylistically, it's good. Chandler isn't going to wrestle him. He's going to stand with him and want to make it entertaining. Then you have an opportunity to see if Conor is good enough to beat a guy like Chandler, who is good, but he's not at the top of the heap anymore at 155 or even 170, because I think Chandler said he wants to move up."McGregor, who had competed for the first time in five years, insists he is not done. Sterling sees a plethora of options for his next fight."The possibilities for McGregor are endless," Sterling said. "He may not be 'Mystic Mac' anymore, but he's still Conor McGregor. People are going to tune in because they want to watch him and see what he's doing next. He's always going to have that aura and enigma about him. But the prospect who came in starching everybody and calling his shots, those days are probably done. If he can have one good fight, he can maybe turn back the clock a little bit, but it depends on how he looks in the performance. There's Nate Diaz, there's Jorge Masvidal, and there are so many good matchups. He could even fight Jake Paul. There are fun fights for him on the horizon."It just depends on whether the UFC gives him that fight sooner rather than later. Now, with this injury, he's probably going to have to undergo surgery. That's at least six months. I've seen guys come back in six months, so that's the minimum before he could come back and have confidence in it again. I don't know what that looks like, but he's going to need to do a lot to strengthen those ligaments on both knees because I believe it was the other one that popped this time, if I'm correct. He needs to make sure he balances that out and does everything he needs to get back into somewhat prime form for competition, not just training. The Las Vegas Raiders have finally signed No. 1 draft pick Fernando Mendoza. According to ESPN, Mendoza signed a four-year, $57.27 million fully guaranteed deal with a fifth-year option. The Raiders' entire 10-player 2026 draft class is now under contract as they report for training camp Thursday.Mendoza was the first player the Raiders drafted first overall since 2007, when they drafted JaMarcus Russell out of LSU.
