NFC Conference winner Rams: +295 (bet $10 to win $39.50 total)Seahawks: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)Eagles: +820 (bet $10 to win $92 total)Packers: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)Lions: +930 (bet $10 to win $103 total)49ers: +960 (bet $10 to win $106 total)Bears: +1250 (bet $10 to win $135 total)Cowboys: +1300 (bet $10 to win $140 total)Buccaneers: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)Vikings: +2400 (bet $10 to win $250 total)Commanders: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)Giants: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)Saints: +3700 (bet $10 to win $380 total)Panthers: +3800 (bet $10 to win $390 total)Falcons: +5500 (bet $10 to win $560 total)Cardinals: +20000 (bet $10 to win $2,010 total) Here's what to know about this oddsboard: What to know: In the last two seasons, the winner of the NFC has gone on to win the Super Bowl. In 2026, the Rams opened as the favorite to win the NFC and play in Super Bowl LXI at their home stadium. Los Angeles barely missed out on a Super Bowl appearance last year, losing to the Seahawks in heartbreaking fashion in the NFC title game. With the major additions of Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, the Rams are now stacked on both sides of the ball, as they look to turn the tables on Seattle in 2026. In the last 10 years, the Eagles have won the NFC three times, the Rams and 49ers have won it twice, and the Seahawks, Buccaneers and Falcons have won it once. AFC Conference winner Ravens: +470 (bet $10 to win $57 total)Bills: +510 (bet $10 to win $61 total)Patriots: +760 (bet $10 to win $86 total)Chiefs: +770 (bet $10 to win $87 total)Chargers: +830 (bet $10 to win $93 total)Texans: +850 (bet $10 to win $95 total)Broncos: +1025 (bet $10 to win $112.50 total)Bengals: +1025 (bet $10 to win $112.50 total)Jaguars: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)Steelers: +2300 (bet $10 to win $240 total)Colts: +2900 (bet $10 to win $300 total)Titans: +5500 (bet $10 to win $560 total)Raiders: +7600 (bet $10 to win $770 total)Browns: +8600 (bet $10 to win $870 total)Jets: +8600 (bet $10 to win $870 total)Dolphins: +15000 (bet $10 to win $1,510 total) What to know: In eight of the last 10 seasons, the Chiefs or Patriots have won the AFC, including each of the last four seasons (K.C. three times, New England once). The only other AFC teams to make the Super Bowl in the last decade were the Bengals in 2021 and the Broncos in 2016. The Ravens are the current favorite to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LXI. Baltimore finished 8-9 and missed out on the playoffs a season ago, mostly because Lamar Jackson battled injuries all year. The last time the Ravens came out of the AFC was back in 2013, when they hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. Next on the oddsboard is the Bills. Buffalo has made the playoffs in each of the last seven seasons but has yet to make the Super Bowl. The last time the Bills won the AFC title was back in 1994. Is this the year Josh Allen and Buffalo overcome their playoff woes?

Can Jets LB Jamien Sherwood bounce back during 2026 NFL season?
The New York Jets' defense needs to be significantly improved in 2026 after the abomination that was 2025. For that to happen, there needs to be a combination of better coaching, improved play from the returning starters, and new contributions from offseason acquisitions, veterans and rookies alike. A returning veteran who needs to be considerably better is linebacker Jamien Sherwood. The Jets signed Sherwood to a three-year, $45 million extension prior to last season. His $15 million average annual salary makes him a top-10 paid linebacker in the NFL. Sherwood didn't meet those expectations in 2025, but could regain form in 2026.Sherwood registered 154 tackles last season, but the tape proved he was largely ineffective. There are so many reasons to believe he'll be significantly improved in 2026. Coaching, scheme, and teammates are at the center of those hopes.Head coach Aaron Glenn and defensive coordinator Brian Duker will employ a downhill scheme that should take advantage of Sherwood's aggressiveness. Sherwood will also have a new running mate at linebacker, with the experienced Demario Davis providing some much-needed stability and leadership opposite him. The defensive line and secondary are also supposed to be better, providing more support for the linebackers.Sherwood possesses every quality required to enjoy a bounce-back season in 2026.Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 NFL season. The Yankees Birthday Series, presented by Pinstripe Alley
During my tenure at Pinstripe Alleyhell, during my entire time as a baseball fanIve never been shy about delving into the teams history and exploring the lives of its long roll call of players, both incredible and regrettable. We provide plenty of other coverage on the current-day activities of the teams, so I like having one spot per day on the schedule to open the ol books and tell a story.Whether its remembering championship teams, Top 100 players, or notable free agent signings, theres always something out there to explore. For the pastthreeyears, weve celebrated the 25th anniversary of the 1998-2000 Yankees dynasty by doing a diary on all their regular season and playoff activity. The final pages were written this past October, so its time for a new daily project. With that in mind, well ring in the new year by beginning the Yankees Birthdays series. Every day in 2026, well have a new Yankees figure to discuss whose birthday happened to fall on that day. Some days will feature far more famous stars than others! But that just adds to the challenge and our interest in the exercise. As a spoiler for today, thats exactly what youll see soon for January 1st.Happy new year and happy 365 days of Yankees birthdays!January 1: Charlie DevensJanuary 2: David ConeJanuary 3: Luis SojoJanuary 4: George SelkirkJanuary 5: Art FletcherJanuary 6: Don GullettJanuary 7: Alfonso SorianoJanuary 8: Jason GiambiJanuary 9: Ralph TerryJanuary 10: Del PrattJanuary 11: Loren BabeJanuary 12: IvnNovaJanuary 13: Darrell RasnerJanuary 14: Chet BrewerJanuary 15: Matt HollidayJanuary 16: Jack McDowellJanuary 17: Chili DavisJanuary 18: Michael PinedaJanuary 19: Fernando SeguignolJanuary 20: Kevin MaasJanuary 21: Andy HawkinsJanuary 22: Brian DayettJanuary 23: Johnny SturmJanuary 24: Neil AllenJanuary 25: Les NunamakerJanuary 26: Brian DoyleJanuary 27: Fred HeimachJanuary 28: Lyn LaryJanuary 29: John HabyanJanuary 30: Hiplito PeaJanuary 31: Duke MaasFebruary 1: Jazz Chisholm Jr.February 2:George HalasFebruary 3: Chicken HawksFebruary 4: Lefty DavisFebruary 5: Roger PeckinpaughFebruary 6: Babe RuthFebruary 7: Dmaso GarcaFebruary 8: Fritz PetersonFebruary 9: Clete BoyerFebruary 10: Allie ReynoldsFebruary 11: Csar CabralFebruary 12: Todd FrazierFebruary 13: Nathan EovaldiFebruary 14: Dmaso MarteFebruary 15: Russell MartinFebruary 16: Barry FooteFebruary 17: Wally PippFebruary 18: Joe GordonFebruary 19: Chris StewartFebruary 20: Tommy HenrichFebruary 21: Oscar AzcarFebruary 22: Ryne DurenFebruary 23: Elston HowardFebruary 24: Mike LowellFebruary 25: Paul ONeillFebruary 26: Johnny BlanchardFebruary 27: Ron HasseyFebruary 28: Bill HollandMarch 1: Oswaldo CabreraMarch 2: Miguel AndujarMarch 3: Willie KeelerMarch 4: Lefty ODoulMarch 5: Doug BirdMarch 6: Francisco CervelliMarch 7: Mike ArmstrongMarch 8: Jim BoutonMarch 9: Aaron BooneMarch 10: Steve HoweMarch 11: Bobby AbreuMarch 12: Darryl StrawberryMarch 13: Home Run BakerMarch 14: Butch WynegarMarch 15: Mike PagliaruloMarch 16: Curtis GrandersonMarch 17: Tim LollarMarch 18: Brian FisherMarch 19: Fritz BrickellMarch 20: Paul MirabellaMarch 21: Frankie MontasMarch 22: Rich MonteleoneMarch 23:Dellin BetancesMarch 24: Ernie ShoreMarch 25: Lee MazzilliMarch 26:Jos VizcanoMarch 27: Miller HugginsMarch 28: Vic RaschiMarch 29: Herb McQuaidMarch 30: Dick WoodsonMarch 31: Chien-Ming WangApril 1: Phil NiekroApril 2: Jon LieberApril 3: Art DitmarApril 4: Cameron MaybinApril 5: Wid ConroyApril 6: Ken ClayApril 7: Oral HildebrandApril 8:Catfish HunterApril 9: David RobertsonApril 10: Bob WatsonApril 11: Mark TeixeiraApril 12: Sammy VickApril 13: Kid ElberfeldApril 14: David JusticeApril 15: King ColeApril 16: Paul WanerApril 17: Zack ClaytonApril 18: Dennis RasmussenApril 19: Scott KamienieckiApril 20: Don MattinglyApril 21: Joe McCarthyApril 22: Jimmy KeyApril 23:Andruw JonesApril 24: Carlos BeltrnApril 25: Russ FordApril 26: Aaron JudgeApril 27: Enos SlaughterApril 28: Tom SturdivantApril 29: Sterling HitchcockApril 30: Jumbo BrownMay 1: Brandon ClaussenMay 2: George GilesMay 3: Red RuffingMay 4: Miguel CairoMay 5: Bob CervMay 6: Ivy AndrewsMay 7: Tom ZacharyMay 8: Art LpezMay 9: Chase HeadleyMay 10: Ed BarrowMay 11: Walt TerrellMay 12: Yogi BerraMay 13: John Ryan MurphyMay 14:Earle CombsMay 15: Alex VerdugoMay 16: Billy MartinMay 17: Carlos MayMay 18: Reggie JacksonMay 19: Gil McDougaldMay 20: Bobby MurcerMay 21: Andrew MillerMay 22: Tommy JohnMay 23: Buck ShowalterMay 24: Bartolo ColonMay 25:Bobby L. LeBron James is coming to Philadelphia, has he met Gritty yet?
LeBron James has taken Philadelphia by storm after announcing the end of his free agency period to join the 76ers for the 2026-2027 NBA season. The announcement has stoked extreme excitement in the city and beyond, resulting in sold out jerseys and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro going so far as to declare July 24 a state holiday. But, when it comes to icons in Philly, we have one question. When will The King meet Gritty? So far, there doesn't seem to be any on-record meeting between James and the Philadelphia Flyers mascot. But maybe that will change once the NBA star and Gritty share the Xfinity Mobile Arena in South Philly? https://t.co/o2baSCT24Mpic.twitter.com/kjCvBw9kO4 Philadelphia Flyers (@NHLFlyers) July 27, 2026
