LeBron James has taken Philadelphia by storm after announcing the end of his free agency period to join the 76ers for the 2026-2027 NBA season. The announcement has stoked extreme excitement in the city and beyond, resulting in sold out jerseys and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro going so far as to declare July 24 a state holiday.
