The Packers signed long snapper Cal Adomitis and wide receiver Kaden Prather on Friday, the team announced. Prather's agreement was previously reported.In corresponding moves, the Packers released kicker Lenny Krieg and waived/injured wide receiver Brenden Rice.Adomitis is a fifth-year player from the University of Pittsburgh who originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Bengals in 2022. He played 49 regular-season games and three postseason contests in three seasons in Cincinnati.He was released toward the end of training camp last season. Adomitis ended up playing nine games for the Eagles last season before finishing the season on the Steelers' practice squad. Prather entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick of the Bills in 2025 but was waived/injured at the end of training camp. He helped the Louisville Kings win the UFL championship this spring. Krieg was signed earlier this week to compete with sixth-round pick Trey Smack for the kicking job.Rice, who was claimed off waivers from the Raiders in May, was on the non-football injury list. TimesofIndia.com has learnt that while nothing serious is wrong with his left knee, the stakeholders are in no mood to rush the fast bowler for the crucial fixtures. He has already completed body conditioning sessions at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) since checking in on Thursday and will start bowling Saturday onwards. He is expected to increase the intensity of his training in the coming days.The 32-year-old was picked in the Shubman Gill-led squad for the series, but subject to fitness clearance. Bumrah missed the third ODI against England at Lord's due to an "impact injury" to his left knee but looked very sharp in the two fixtures he did play.It is reliably learnt that he was scheduled to receive an injection for a knee-related issue which had flared up during the business end of the T20 World Cup. Since then the knee was being handled with care during the IPL, and forced him to spend some time at the CoE before the T20 competition got underway. The BCCI medical team is understood to be aware of the sequence of events, the injection and the necessary recovery period."Selectors were thoroughly briefed. Bumrah was advised an injection by the BCCI medical team and had to rest for the following 8-10 days. The moment that period was over, he reached the CoE for assessment. New York Giants fans won't be seeing as much of running back Cam Skattebo's acrobatics this year at least in training camp.Skattebo told reporters at Giants training camp on Friday, July 31 that he's going to stop attempting backflips off of the field for now. His signature celebration became a hot topic earlier in July after a video of a failed backflip attempt just months removed from a severe ankle injury went viral."Obviously, I do some dumb things here and there," Skattebo said. Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty ImagesBarcelona kicked off preseason in entertaining fashion with a 2-2 draw against Birmingham City at St. Andrews on Friday. 22 players featured on the evening and a team full of La Masia youngsters and a few first team reserves had some excellent moments throughout the game, and 18-year-old Hamza Abdelkarim scored twice to open his Bara account.Hansi Flicks starting XI was a mix of La Masia youngsters and first team reserves, and they were facing a Birmingham side further along in their preparations that played with a lot of intensity and pressed Bara high up the pitch.The Catalans had some solid moments in possession and progressed the ball well from back to front against the press, but the final touch around the box was missing and Bara struggled to create chances.Baras standout player of the half was Xavi Espart, who started at right-back and was involved in every good attack in the period. He constantly beat the press with his passing and ball-carrying, and always found teammates in good positions in the attacking half.Ebrima Tunkara had a very good half as well, showing great strength and skill against the press and making some good runs in the final third. New signing Karim Adeyemi saw plenty of the ball but was mostly wasteful, although bad touches and passes are natural in early preseason games.Birmingham took the lead against the run of play with a header from August Priske at the half-hour mark, but Bara continued to attack until young striker Hamza Abdelkarim won a foul inside the box and scored a great penalty to make it 1-1 at the break.Hansi Flick made four changes at halftime, with Roony Bardghji one of them. Jhon Sols equalized on a set piece with 20 minutes to go, and Birmingham gained a lot of momentum playing against inexperienced teenagers.Baras kids responded, however, and had a very good finish to the game as they regained control of the ball and relied on Roony to create danger on the wing. Brian Farias and Jordi Pesquer had strong showings at the full-back spots, and lex Gonzlez looked really good on the left wing.The young Blaugrana created several late chances but couldnt find the winning goal thanks to some big saves by the Birmingham keeper, and the final whistle came to end a very entertaining friendly in Englands second city.There was still a ceremonial penalty shootout to decide a winner on the night, and young keeper ron Yaakobishvili made two saves but couldnt help Bara get a win as the Blaugrana missed three times from the spot.Regardless of the result of the shootout, this was still a pretty positive night for Bara with several individual bright spots and quite a few of the kids catching the eye, and its good to see that La Masia will always produce great talent.

The game is set for 2:30 p.m. MST.Sneed, who starred in high school at Scottsdale Horizon, has not been with the Rattlers this year. He led the Rattlers to the IFL title two seasons ago. Before that, he led the Bay Area Panthers to a championship. He had retired following the 2025 season, but he will come out of retirement for the playoffs."We had to turn in a playoff roster, and we added him for depth," coach Kevin Guy said. "That's the one position you don't want any issues."You have to play three straight games without any changes to the roster.
