His estimated market value has now risen to 50m, making him the second most valuable player in Kovacs squad behind Nico Schlotterbeck.Dortmund hold strong negotiating positionDortmund have publicly maintained that they do not intend to sell Nmecha this summer. Sporting director Nils-Ole Book ruled out a departure at the end of May and described the midfielder as one of the best players in his position in German football.The club adopted a similarly firm position when announcing his contract extension. Managing director Lars Ricken described Nmecha as a central component of Dortmunds strategic squad planning and emphasised his importance both at club and international level.The new agreement reportedly contains a release clause, but it cannot be activated during the present transfer window. Sport Bild reports that Nmecha may leave for 80m in the summer of 2027, with the figure dropping to 70m one year later.Newcastle would therefore have to negotiate directly with Dortmund and potentially offer more than the value of the future clause to prompt a change in position this summer. Recent reports have suggested that BVB would demand approximately 100m to sanction an immediate sale.Such a sum would represent a major profit on Dortmunds original investment and provide funds for extensive squad reinforcement. Did some clubs know of him before the World Cup? Surely. But did the World Cup elevate his profile where you now have clubs like Juventus and Manchester United being linked to him? Of course.Who knows where Gill fits into all of the goalkeeper options as Juve have pivoted away from Martinez and Alisson Becker before him. We know that Juventus want to add a goalkeeper during the final weeks of the summer window and that Guglielmo Vicario is probably the leader in the clubhouse right now. But who really knows how that all plays out because this is entire chase for a new goalkeeper is turning into a saga that probably should have been solved weeks ago.But at least we get to add Gill to the list of names, and learn a little bit about him at the same time.

I had some lower back injuries, and actually worked a lot to change it, to try and get more into extension coming through it without straightening both legs.The pattern matches, because you straighten both legs, something else has to bend to make your circle hit the bottom in the right spot.Obviously, hes got it pretty nailed down, and I hate the idea of changing a 21-year-olds swing that just won on his third PGA Tour start as a pro, and being like, yeah man, your back might hurt in the future.So lets just wait until his back hurts, if it ever does, because he may just never have a back injury his whole career.
