Maryland will rarely travel far out of conference, but matchups against a few marquee opponents will test the Terps before Big Ten play rolls around. The Terps announced they would play one exhibition game in 2026 against West Virginia on Oct. 18. That game will come more than two weeks before the Terps official season-opener against Bucknell on Nov. 2. A trip to Georgetown on Nov. 7 follows, a three-game homestand against Virginia, Alcorn State and Wagner takes Maryland to Thanksgiving Week, when it will play in the Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas.From there, the Terps wont leave Maryland for the rest of the year.
