Antonio Senzatela had a whirlwind of a day. This morning, he landed in Milwaukee after spending 15 years playing for the Colorado Rockies organization, and by 8 pm, he was pitching his first game as a Milwaukee Brewer. It feels a little weird, Senzatela said after the game. The Brewers traded for the right-handed pitcher in the final hour before the MLB trade deadline on Monday afternoon. The turnaround was so quick that Senzatelas teammate and starting pitcher, Logan Henderson, didnt realize that he had made it to Milwaukee until he saw Senzatela warming up in the bullpen during the fifth inning.Henderson said the first time they met was when Senzatela told him, Good game, in the dugout in between innings. Senzatela only pitched one full inning with one walk, but was able to keep it scoreless. Ive always loved the kid from afar, Brewers Manager Pat Murphy said after the game. Senzatela relied heavily on sinkers during his single inning, a pitch that he didnt frequently use in his time in Colorado.Murphy said that conversations around adapting Senzatelas pitching style to the Brewers' needs happened while they were attempting to acquire him from the Rockies.
