Whether or not their non-participation is due to injury is not known at this point, but the team added another depth receiver Tejhaun Palmer as a waiver claim after practice.Players to watchWR Kyle Williams and WR Efton Chism III: Williams and Chism have repped as the sixth and seventh receivers on the roster fairly consistently over the first nine practices. Wednesday will therefore provide as a chance to see whether or not anything has changed, especially with Williams having spent Mondays session as a spectator.LB K.J.Britt and LB Khalil Jacobs: With Chad Muma seemingly starting to separate himself in the race for the third linebacker spot, veteran free agent Britt and undrafted rookie Jacobs might be dueling it out for the fourth and possibly final job. The latters trajectory has been encouraging this camp, and seems to have overtaken his more experienced teammate on the depth chart.The backup cornerbacks: The backups options at cornerback are mentioned here for a second straight day, and for good reason. The competition for a fifth and sixth spot on the depth chart seemingly remains wide open. I think that thats their plan right now. But heres where I think it gets interestingWhat if the Raiders are not winning regularly and were coming up to the trade deadline in the first week of November I think as the trade deadline gets closer, thats when we could start hearing Maxx Crosbys name again, Schefter saidI think thats when it might be time to start paying attention. Maybe Im going to be surprised and they trade in the summer, but thats not what Im expecting. Its not what Im hearing. I think it changes if and when the season starts to go south.Maxx Crosby admitted hes a big fan of Bears QB Caleb WilliamsOver the years, Crosby has made no secret of wanting to make every quarterbacks life misery when he lines up opposite to them.Williams is no different, with Crosby even securing a pick against the Bears QB back in their Week Four meeting last season.However, make no mistake about it, there is a lot of respect from Crosby towards Williams.Just to be open and honest, bro, like we talked about earlier, but respect at a different level, bro. Youre one of those guys for sure and youre just getting started, Crosby said to Williams during an episode of The Rush podcast.I dont even know you understand yet how good you can be and thats the scariest part.
