Hes set to make $17.3 million this season, and if Houston likes what they get, they can exercise his $21 million club option for next season. In a weakened division, this is the best move the Astros can make. Having a Cy Young, a Cy Young candidate, and a possible All-Star at the top of their rotation is just what they need to conquer once again.MOREMLBNEWSAngels predicted to part ways with, put $2.9 million 0.45 ERA breakout ace on trade block after Cy Young-level start to 2026 seasonPadres Cy Young candidate ace Michael King receives $100 million contract update ahead of free agencyProposed blockbuster Mets trade sees land $33 million All-Star, Batting Title winner to finally replace bat of Pete Alonso
