Clemson defensive back signs undrafted free agency deal with Titans
former Clemson defensive back is getting his shot at the next level.According to multiple reports, Jeadyn Lukus is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday night.Lukus made a strong impression during Clemsons Pro Day, putting together one of the more notable workouts among defensive backs. He recorded an 11-foot, 7-inch broad jump, along with a 1.46-second 10-yard split and a 6.95-second three-cone drill. Both of those times would have ranked among the best at the NFL Combine. He also ran a 4.41 in the 40-yard dash, showing the kind of speed thats always made him an intriguing prospect.Coming out of high school, Lukus was one of the top prospects in the country. He was rated a five-star recruit and the top player in South Carolina, backed by strong production at Mauldin High School where he totaled 97 tackles, 17 pass breakups, and four interceptions across three seasons. His time at Clemson was more uneven. While his athletic ability was never in question, consistency proved harder to come by. He showed flashes early, including an interception in the 2022 ACC Championship Game against North Carolina, and worked his way into a starting role by the beginning of the 2024 season. But after some early struggles that year, Lukus eventually lost his starting job. Injuries also played a role in limiting him late in his career, including during the 2025 season when he missed most of fall camp and saw his snaps drop significantly.Clemson star Cade Klubnik drafted in 2026 NFL Draft by New York Jets USA TODAY Sports https://t.co/Ml2DVm6qGopic.twitter.com/k3zJN6A96I Clemson Wire (@Clemson_Wire) April 25, 2026Over four seasons, Lukus appeared in 43 games with 15 starts, finishing with 61 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and two interceptions across just over 1,000 defensive snaps. Now, hell look to turn his athletic upside into a roster spot as he begins his NFL journey in Tennessee.Contact us@Clemson_Wireon X, and like our page onFacebookfor ongoing coverage ofClemson Tigersnews and notes, plus opinions. This article originally appeared on Clemson Wire: Former Clemson DB Jeadyn Lukus undrafted free agency deal with Titans
