Browns receive stellar NFL Draft grade from analyst after adding haul
For what seems like the second year in a row, the Cleveland Browns took home a massive haul of talent in the NFL Draft. This year, the Browns left with Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano and Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion in the first round. They then doubled up in the second round as well with Washington wide receiver Denzel Washington and Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. They then traded up again and selected Florida offensive tackle Austin Barber with the 98th overall pick in the draft. On Day 3, the Browns then added Alabama center Parker Brailsford, Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson, Cincinnati tight end Joe Royer, Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green, and BYU tight end Carsen Ryan. Now, analysts across every network are putting out draft grades. One of those sites is Daft on Draft. This site, a site dedicated to year-round NFL draft coverage, scouting reports, video content, and more, gave the Browns an A- for their efforts this past weekend. The reason behind the Browns' NFL Draft gradeHere is what Daft on Draft had to say on the Browns' haul:"Its hard to argue what the Browns did in the NFL Draft. They needed to upgrade the left tackle spot and overhaul their wide receiver room badly, and they accomplished both of those goals in the first 40 picks of the draft. Trading up and landing a consensus top-25 player with the 58th overall pick is icing on the cake."They went on to say that the trade-up and selection of Austin Barber was the worst pick that the Browns made, and the trade-up and selection of Emmanuel McNeil-Warren was the best selection that the team made on draft night. Overall, high marks for the Browns; they landed Daft on Draft's top tier, and tied for the fourth-highest graded draft. This article originally appeared on Browns Wire: Browns receive stellar NFL Draft grade from analyst after adding haul
