Yankees to honor John Sterling with this uniform patch
NEW YORK - There's another major tribute to John Sterling in the works.Beginning with their May 18 home game against Toronto, the Yankees will wear special uniform patches honoring the legendary radio play-by-play broadcaster who passed away Monday at age 87.The circular patch features a microphone over a pinstriped background, with the famous interlocking N-Y logo and Sterling's name.
