No. 1 Florida State softball rolls past No. 4 Stanford in ACC Semifinals; Dimitrijevic & Danley shut out Cardinal

Still with no outs, and a runner on third, Anna Hinde reached on a fielders choice, forcing Stanford to make a play at home. Brewer gave up two more singles, one of which was resulted in an RBI from Beachum. Now a 6-0 game, Stanford went back to the bullpen for Zoe Prystajko.Facing a new pitcher, Danley extended her hitting streak with an RBI double. Looking to extend the lead over Stanford, a sacrifice fly and fielders choice put the Seminoles in run rule territory, now with a 9-0 score. In the circle for the final inning, Danley got the first two outs before a double and hit by pitch had two runners on. She only needed one pitch to get the last out, securing the run rule win over Stanford and advancing to the title game.
