Missouri Tigers' star Ahmad Hardy shot at concert, in stable condition
There was a scary situation for the Missouri Tigers over the weekend, with the team reporting that star running back Ahmad Hardy was the victim of a shooting at a concert in Mississippi on Sunday morning. Hardy is reportedly in stable condition. Hardy reportedly suffered a gunshot wound, but went through surgery early on Sunday morning and is now considered stable. While Hardy is expected to recover from this injury, the school said in a release that his return-to-field timeline is currently unknown. They will update the situation when more information is available. "Ahmad is deeply loved by his teammates, coaches, friends, family, and fans," Missouri Athletics released in a statement. Going into 2026, Hardy was projected to be one of the top players in the conference once again.
