Florida zeroing in on prized EDGE Success Nwabude from Georgia
Florida football extended an offer to Peach State native and Georgia target, edge defender Success Nwabude, last Thursday by Gators defensive line coach Gerald Chatman. Nwabude is a 6-foot-6-inch, 245-pound prospect from Athens Christian School. Nwabude played his first organized season of football as a junior, where he amassed 14 tackles and a fumble recovery in just five games.The four-star athlete possesses physical traits and raw athletic prowess that SEC coaches covet. With an 82-inch wingspan and a 4.89-second 40-yard dash, the multi-sport athlete is quickly ascending on the national recruiting scene. While he only began his football journey in April, Nwabude's athleticism has earned him a high profile among scouts. Although he's played out of position on the offensive and defensive lines, Nwabude projects as an impact edge rusher.
