Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here. The Buffalo Bills' receiver room, for most, is now settled as the franchise traded for DJ Moore to add to Josh Allen's weaponry.Moore, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, and Tyrell Shavers loom as Allen's top options, but there is a case to be made that the depth chart is rather jumbled.Who goes where? For Sports Illustrated's Gilberto Manzano, the biggest question aimed at the Bills this offseason is who will be Allen's WR3."GM Brandon Beane finally provided what most Bills fansand Buffalo radio hostswanted for Josh Allen: A quality No. 1 wide receiver," Manzano wrote."But theres still a hole behind Moore and Khalil Shakir for the No. 3 role. Joshua Palmer struggled last year during his first season in Buffalo, recording only 22 catches for 303 yards in 12 games played. Keon Coleman, the 2024 second-round selection, could be on the trading block after two rocky seasons. Perhaps the team has high hopes for rookie Skyler Bell, the fourth-rounder from UConn."MORE:Did Chiefs do enough in offseason for 2026 bounce-back?Bills' WR3 an easy choiceFor me, right now, it is Palmer.Yes, you can point to last season's production, which was halted due to injury, and to the fact that it was Palmer's first year in Buffalo, but he did show flashes with that long bomb to begin the Falcons game, coming to mind.Plus, he's a veteran, and you can argue, far more trustworthy than Coleman and maybe Shavers at this point in time. So, until either Coleman, Shavers, or even Bell make significant strides this offseason, the Bills' receiver depth chart will read Moore, Shakir, and then Palmer as the top three options.More NFL news:Did Chiefs do enough in offseason for 2026 bounce-back?Has Browns' Shedeur Sanders risen up QB depth chart under Todd Monken?Commanders' Terry McLaurin offers 3-word response to 10-target comment from OCBills earn surprising offseason grade to begin Joe Brady eraDid Chargers ace their offseason?
