Draymond Green finally said something nice about the Knicks, and you wont believe what he said originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been very outspoken about certain things over the past few years, and one of them has been about the New York Knicks. Green definitely has some issues with Knicks star center Karl-Anthony Towns, though Towns has been putting some of Green's past comments to rest.I don't think anybody can argue against the fact right now that Towns has been the best player in the NBA Finals, at least on the Knicks roster. He's the reason the Knicks currently have a 2-1 lead, and New York will need him to continue playing at that level if it wants to win it all. He went away from him on Monday, resulting in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs.Green decided to be quiet about Towns for the moment, though if he loses this series, I definitely expect him to start talking about him once again. This time, he spoke about Jalen Brunson, and his comments were much kinder than those he has said in the past about Towns. He went so far as to say that Brunson's impact seems to extend far beyond the court, even comparing him to greats like Stephen Curry and LeBron James.Ive obviously played in six NBA Finals or whatever it is. But I played with Stephen Curry and I played against LeBron James a lot. The amount of Jalen Brunson jerseys I see stacks up to the amount of Stephen Curry and LeBron James jerseys you see.Thats what been most impressive to me how much support they have for this team but in particular how much this city has banded around this guy who is the engine pushing this whole thing forward, Draymond Green said, per Yahoo. Not only have the Knicks been looking for a superstar to root for, but they've been searching for a guy to take them to the top. While Brunson hasn't completed the job just yet, he's gotten them a lot closer than most Knicks fans have seen in quite some time. He certainly is loved in the city and is two wins away from going down as perhaps the greatest to ever wear blue and orange.More NBA News:Warriors predicted to make horrendousBrandin Podziemski decisionDereck Lively gets horrendous contract prediction from MavericksSpurs Victor Wembanyama lands heftycontract prediction during NBA FinalsLakers predicted to lose $51 million free agent in deal to San Antonio SpursHeat get good Celtics update on Giannis Antetokounmpo amid Miami rumors
