I felt like a kid, Kelly said postgame on Friday.Although Kelly has starting experience, Pirates manager Don Kelly confirmed he will be a bulk reliever for Pittsburgh. He also adds some more velocity to the bullpen as he touched 100 MPH in his debut. The Pirates manager, meanwhile, also believes Kelly can be an impact reliever for the Pirates going forward. He can definitely be big for our bullpen, for sure, not just physically but also mentally, manager Don Kelly said. Today was one of those days that he showed what he can do. The whole thing did not go his way, but I feel like he's going to help us, and I believe his pitching will be huge for our team.Kelly seemed to settle into the game, as after a leadoff double in the eighth, followed by a home run, he retired the final six batters in order, which gained him some confidence.Pittsburgh will look to even up its series against Miami on Saturday, with first pitch set for 4:05 p.m. ET.More MLB:Don Kelly Makes Feelings Clear On Bullpen Blowing Game
