Heres a small section of a presumably longer interview with incoming Blue Devil freshman Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje, where he talks about why he decided to go to college, rather than playing a year at an American high school, why he chose Duke, and a bit more. As it turns out, the Boumtje Boumtjes discussed the potential of starting college this fall, and spoke to a handful of coaches. Boumtje Boumtje says what sold him on Duke was Jon Scheyer and his burgeoning bragging rights about developing talent for the NBA. Theres a great story here also about how Boumtje Boumtje, having made up his mind what he wants to do, told Scheyer.
