He checks in at No. 3 all time behind just Steph Curry and Reggie Miller."Ray Allen was more than just a shooter," B/R writes in its rankings. "His slashing, passing and ball-handling were all underrated aspects of his game. But that's obviously not why we're here. And he was a little hesitant to use it," B/R writes. "During his first five seasons, while he was certainly doing plenty of damage as a mid-range shooter, Bird averaged just 1.1 three-point attempts per game and shot 30.8 percent from deep. But from that point to the end of his career, Bird was one of the most feared shooters in the world from any range.Over his last eight years in the NBA, Bird took 2.6 three-point attempts per game and shot 39.8 percent from deep.
