The Philadelphia 76ers landed the big fish. They have officially brought in future Hall of Famer LeBron James on a 2-year $8 million deal to have him join Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and VJ Edgecombe to form one of the more potent lineups in the history of the game.James, 41, is entering year 24, but averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 51.5% from the floor and 31.7% from deep in the 2025-26 season. He led the Los Angeles Lakers to Round 2 of the playoffs in '26 and is on his way now to Philadelphia.After the signing to the Sixers was announced, James immediately went to Twitter to explain his decision.
