Australia topped the standings at Birmingham 2022 with 67 gold medals and 179 overall, finishing ahead of England, which collected 58 golds and 176 total medals. Canada placed third with 26 gold medals and 92 overall.Glasgow 2026 has already delivered a different look at the top of the table. Nigeria made the fastest start after the first Para powerlifting medal events, with Esther Nworgu winning womens lightweight gold and Esther Oyema adding silver. Roland Ezuruike also earned silver in the mens lightweight competition.England sits second after Mark Swan won the first gold medal of the Games in the mens lightweight event and Olivia Broome claimed bronze in the womens competition.
