While things spiked last week as it was revealed that Olise told some of his France teammates that he wanted to make a transfer to Real Madrid, the storyline has shifted. Not because Olise has given up his dream, but because the Bavarians are not about to enable that dream to come true. Per Falk, everyone from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Olises camp understands that there will be no movement this summer and that this whole matter will need to be resolved at a much later date: It is TRUE: Michael Olise told his French national teammates that he would like to join Real Madrid at some stage, but hes unlikely to force an exit from Bayern Munich this summer. I think its okay. Everyone is allowed to dream about a transfer to Real Madrid and wearing the famous white jersey. But Olise also knows that Bayern have a contract with him until 2029, and the club have made it absolutely clear that hes not for sale this summer. There have been no talks between FC Bayern and their right winger about this topic at the time of writing. Neither the Frenchman nor his agent have knocked on the door, but there have been talks, as we already know, between the two club presidents, Herbert Hainer and Florentino Prez. After these talks, I think Real Madrid recognised that there isnt an opportunity to sign Michael Olise in the current transfer window. Im not sure if this will be the absolute last word on this point. It could be hot right at the end of the summer window. Real Madrid do like to do a late deal, while Bayern tends to go early with their business. But then thats also a sign that this just wont work, as FC Bayern wouldnt be able to sign a replacement for Olise anyway.I think the big question now for Bayern Munich and Michael Olise is whether the Frenchman will sign a new contract in Bavaria. Thats because, if not, the club will have the big problem of replacing him next summer. This summer, I think it will be a big problem. But if Bayern decides the Frenchman has to be sold next summer, say for 200m-250m or so (no offer on the table yet), then they have something to discuss. The large majority of Bayern Munich fans will be very pleased by this latest development, but there is a small segment of the population that is a bit peeved at Olises alleged desire to leave Bavaria for Madrid. In addition, some others think that it could be the ideal time to cash in on Olise, whose stock might not get higher than it is right now. Aside of any of that, though, Bayern Munich will be pleased to have Olise join Harry Kane and Luis Daz once again leading the frontline. The trio was nearly unstoppable last season and should be the foundation for what should be a fun, two-season window where the club should be equipped to seriously compete for a treble. If Olise leaves ahead of 2027/28, the window could close after one-year, so what better time than right to try and bring home gold in all three major competitions? than right nowAl-Hilal eyeing Bastoni? (Sky Italias Gianluca DiMarzio)It is extremely doubtful that Alessandro Bastoni is going to leave Inter Milan this summer, despite what would probably be a massive offer from Al-Hilal, the skilled center-back. Regardless, the rumor is out there: Alessandro Bastoni could leave Inter this transfer window. Simone Inzaghis Al-Hilal are interested in the Nerazzurri and Italian national team defender, who coached him during his time at Inter and is now looking to bring him to Saudi Arabia. The Saudi club has not yet submitted an offer to the Nerazzurri management: well see if this interest materializes in the coming days. Before proceeding, however, Al-Hilal will need to register the departure of a foreign player.Bayern Alumni: Jackson might want move to Aston Villa (Daily Mail)Nicolas Jackson returned to Chelsea after a season with Bayern Munich on loan, but the Senegalese striker might want to make a move to Aston Villa: Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is interested in his potential switch to Aston Villa to work with his former head coach Unai Emery again.Galatasaray scoping Bremer (Sky Italia)Bayern Munich has been linked to Juventus center-back Gleison Bremer, but Galatasaray could be a more aggressive suitor: Galatasaray has set its sights on Gleison Bremer: currently, the Turkish club has only made inquiries about the Juventus defender with the players entourage, without making any offers to the Bianconeri. A significant salary offer for the Brazilian is reportedly on the table.United to take run at Kon (LEquipe)Manu Kon was an underrated part of the French powerhouse at the World Cup and his play in the tourney has put him on the radar of Manchester United: At 25, after two seasons in Italy (82 matches) and a final campaign that ended with a respectable third-place finish (73 points), the former Toulouse player knows hes at a turning point in his career, especially after an impressive World Cup. The ambitious Kon, under contract until 2029, would like to make the leap to a higher-profile club. A team capable of achieving solid European ambitions. For months, and the Italian press has been reporting it regularly, Inter Milan has expressed interest. But its in the Premier League that Kon has the best chance of landing. Firstly, because he would like to play in England. But also because his current market is there. Several clubs have shown interest. As we reported last month, Arsenal is among them. But currently, Manchester United undoubtedly has the upper hand. Initial discussions have begun, though they havent yet reached a decisive stage. Like many other clubs during this summer transfer window, slowed by the World Cup, United is determined to take its time to analyze potential deals and avoid overpaying. In the shortlist drawn up by Manchester Uniteds decision-makers, Kon is indeed a priority target. The Frenchman would welcome a potential move to the club in the north of England. Two other Premier League clubs, whose names have not been revealed, have expressed interest. Ideally, Kon would like to have a decision made soon. However, its uncertain whether his wish will be granted.LFC taking lead on Barcola?
