Sebastian Hoene rules out goalkeeper signing after Seimens injury
Sebastian Hoene rules out goalkeeper signing after Seimens injuryStuttgart will be without their starting goalkeeper Dennis Seimen at least until the end of September. However, there are currently no signs that they are looking for replacements ahead of their return to Champions League football."I spoke with Dennis (Seimen). Of course, he's disappointed. But, by now, he's already back in the mode of looking forward. We're doing everything we can to get him back as quickly as possible." said Stuttgarts coach Sebastian Hoene after their 5-0 win over FSV Hollenbach in pre-season.Hoene further commented on their approach to dealing with his absence. "In principle, we are very satisfied with the goalkeeping team and especially with Fabi (Fabian Bredlow). As it stands now, we see no need to bring in a new goalkeeper. Generally, we have confidence in our boys."Seimen will be Stuttgarts number one when he returns to full fitness. The Germany U21 international helped Paderborn win promotion to Bundesliga before returning to his parent club to replace Alexander Nbel.
