At 30, Rodri would represent a major financial commitment, and Madrid must decide based on sporting value.The Diomande development shows Madrid can still win major transfer battles when a player clearly prioritises the club. Rodris situation will require the same clarity and patience.It also shows that when Madrid comes calling, more often than not, players tend to choose them and Diomande is the latest in a long list who proves that.PSG may want a small measure of revenge over Los Blancos, but, ultimately, it is the players wish that will matter, and it remains to be seen how this Rodri situation plays out.
