The Washington Commanders hired a new tight ends coach back in February, but after five months with the team, the assistant coachs time with the franchise is over.The Commanders announced on Monday that they have parted ways with tight ends coach Ben Steele, who the team hired on February 27.Washington did not say the reason behind the parting of ways with Steele, but a recent arrest might have something to do with it.According to Virginia court records, Steele was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated on June 6. Before becoming the tight ends coach of the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, he worked as an offensive assistant with the team.
