The Carolina Hurricanes Stanley Cup win, the NBA Finals, and UNC Chapel Hills trip to the College World Series all likely helped boost sports betting across North Carolina in June. The State Lottery Commission says bettors spent $589 million on wagers last month. Thats compared to just $433 million in June 2025.
