More details are starting to emerge about the San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, and it was a lot worse than we thought, according to Pro Football Talk's Chris Simms.Simms said that Shananhan almost lost an eye.It was scary, Simms said on Pro Football Talk. She sent us some pictures right off the bat, and it was like oh my gosh. 'He was this close to maybe losing his right eye. The scar is so big right here. So, all that stuff was just crazy to see.Simms called the pictures "jarring."Simms also says that Shanahan looks a lot better now; however, he is still dealing with a concussion that is giving him lingering issues.Simms admitted the accident hit the 49ers' head coach hard psychologically. He's not only worried about his injuries but also about the other person involved."I don't think he'd have any problem with me sharing this," he said, It hit him hard, he was emotional about it because he realized how close it was to being a complete and utter diaster.
