The Official World Golf Ranking has been updated for the week of July 28, 2026 with Scottie Scheffler earning the title of the planet's best player. After his fifth runner-up finish of the season, Scheffler's lead on No. 2 has strengthened even more. Meanwhile, LIV Golf's Lucas Herbert has moved into the top 50 after his record victory in the UK. The OWGR system is calculated by awarding points from eligible tours and events to participating players over a rolling two-year period. Players are ranked weekly based on the amount of points they earn divided by the number of events they played in to reach an average total.
