Jalen Milroe has best practice of Seahawks career at training camp
Seattle Seahawks sophomore quarterback Jalen Milroe is a bit of a forgotten man at training camp. Drafted as a developmental quarterback last offseason, it was easy to forget about Milroe after Sam Darnold left no doubt that he's the face of the franchise. Well, the sophomore signal caller just reminded Seahawks fans that he's still an intriguing talent with an impressive practice at Tuesday's training camp session.Milroe enjoyed the best practice of his Seahawks career on Tuesday. That was the general sentiment reported by those in attendance. Milroe threw a gorgeous touchdown to Cody White, made an off-script throw across the middle to Eric Saubert, and produced several more outside-the-numbers passes in tight coverage.QB Jalen Milroe signing for fans after his best throwing day in his two NFL training camps with the #SeahawksDart throw into Cody Whites chest back of end zone. Darnold is entrenched as the starter and will probably sign an extension next offseason to avoid being in a contract year. Veteran backup Drew Lock is the obvious No. 2, but Lock finds himself on an expiring contract. If Milroe continues developing in the appropriate direction, perhaps he'll be trusted to be Darnold's backup next season. That would allow the Seahawks the freedom to let Lock sign elsewhere in free agency next offseason. A few more impressive practices and a good preseason could allow Milroe to climb the Seahawks' depth chart. This article originally appeared on Seahawks Wire: Jalen Milroe has best practice of Seahawks career at training camp
