Man found shot to death in Auburn Gresham ID'd as basketball coach, Chicago police and family say
A 60-year-old man was found shot to death on Wednesday morning, Chicago police said.Chicago police responded to the call at about 9:57 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Emerald Street in Auburn Gresham.Family and friends came to the scene, at first in mourning before turning the gathering into a celebration of life for South Side basketball legend Tim Bankston.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watchThe man was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen inside a home, police said.
