Mendys trophy was described as damaged and slightly worn. The buyer also received a FIFA World Cup winner certificate signed by the former Monaco and Manchester City full-back.Although, he arrived out of form, Mendy was picked up by Didier Deschamps for Frances 2018 World Cup run. The left-back eventually played a part-time role with Lucas Hernandez starting all of Frances games bar one.
