Undrafted rookie offensive tackle Kahlil Benson is making a strong impression after spending a second consecutive practice with the first-team offense.What made Thursdays practice particularly noteworthy was that head coach Andy Reid entrusted Benson with all of the first-team reps at right tackle. That decision came as a surprise considering five-year veteran Jaylon Moore entered training camp as the favorite to claim the starting role.Benson, who starred at Indiana before signing with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, has quickly earned the coaching staffs attention through his combination of size, athleticism and physical play.Hes done a nice job, Reid said. Hes learning. Very strong and powerful, good feet, good athletic ability. Hes working at the consistency part, scheme-wise.
