Gardner-Johnson was injured during on Saturday, August 1 during the teams training camp practice at St. John Fisher University. An initial observation by News 4 Buffalo reporter Carl Jones stated that Gardner-Johnson went down during team period holding his lower leg area before being helped off the field by trainers.Later reports on Gardner-Johnsons injury shared that he wasnt able to put much weight on his right leg, with the teams athletic trainers looking at the back of his foot by the Achilles. Gardner-Johnson was subsequently carted off back to the locker room after being attended to in the medical tent.This is a developing story.
