Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith took another positive step forward with his recovery on Saturday, Aug. 1.Smith has been dealing with an inflamed disc in his neck thats kept him out of major league action since June 5.Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that it will still take at least three or four weeks, including a rehab assignment, before Smith could potentially be activated for a return.Smith was spotted on the field this week, hitting at Dodger Stadium on Friday and throwing on Saturday.Who is Will Smith's backup?The Dodgers have relied on Dalton Rushing during Smiths absence.
